Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the white forenoon 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
