Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
