Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
