Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 and granted you an exalted reputation? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief. 6 So when thou art relieved, still toil 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
