Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
