Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So, surely with every hardship there is ease; 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
