Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
