Al-Teen

The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By oath of the fig and of the olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 And by oath of this secure land, 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 Then We return him to the lowest of the low, 5 Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of all sovereigns? 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
