Al-Teen

The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and by the Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 We have certainly created man in the best of stature; 4 We then turned him towards all the lowest of the low states. 5 except those who have faith and do righteous deeds. Theirs is a never ending reward. 6 Who, then, can give the lie to you, (O Prophet), about the Reward and the Punishment? 7 Is not God the justest of judges? 8
