In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 Created man from a clot. 2 Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, 3 Who teacheth by the pen, 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 Because he sees himself free from want. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 Do you think he is rightly guided, 11 Or enjoins Righteousness? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Did he not realise that Allah is watching? 14 Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock - 15 his lying sinful forelock. 16 Let him call on his associates for help 17 We shall call the guards of Hell. 18 Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ 19
