The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
READ IN THE name of your Lord who created, 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Hath taught man that which he knew not. 5 Nay, verily, man becomes grossly overweening 6 In that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient. 7 Surely to your Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 A slave (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) when he prays? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Quran), and turns away? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 No indeed; surely, if he gives not over, We shall seize him by the forelock, 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 We will now call the guards! 18 Nay, pay thou no heed to him, but prostrate thyself [before God] and draw close [unto Him]! ۩ 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
