Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 Peace! it is till the break of the morning. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
