Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what have you understood, what the Night of Destiny is! 2 The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. 3 in it the angels and the Spirit (Gabriel) descend by the permission of their Lord upon every command. 4 Peace! it is till the break of the morning. 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
