Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Verily We! We have sent it down on the night of Power. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 The Night of Honor is better than a thousand months, 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
