Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what shall teach thee what is the Night of Power? 2 The night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 On (this night) the angels and grace descend by the dispensation of their Lord, for settling all affairs. 4 Peace it is, till the break of dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
