Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We sent it [Quran] down on the Night of Destiny. 1 And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? 2 The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, (i.e. 83 years and 4 months). 3 On (this night) the angels and grace descend by the dispensation of their Lord, for settling all affairs. 4 It is peace until the rising of dawn. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Destiny (Al-Qadr). Sent down in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
