Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 An Apostle from God, reading out hallowed pages 2 Containing correct scriptures. 3 Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 Surely those who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book and the polytheists shall be in the fire of hell, abiding therein; they are the worst of men. 6 Verily those who believe and work righteous works - these! they are the best of the creation. 7 Their recompense with their Lord shall be Gardens Everlasting, whereunder rivers flow - as abiders therein for evermore. Well-pleased will be Allah with them and well-pleased will be they with Him, that is for him who feareth his Lord. 8
