The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
