The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
