Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
