The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That Day it will declare its information (about all what happened over it of good or evil). 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
