The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
