The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah). Sent down in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
