The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
