The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
