The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
