The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
