The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
