The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that day she shall tell her news, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
