The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
