The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
