The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
