Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 and produce sparks 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
