Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
