The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
