The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
