The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
