The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
