Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
