Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 and produce sparks 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
