The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 and produce sparks 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
