The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting courses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
