The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the snorting chargers, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
