The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
