Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
