Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
