The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
