The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 and produce sparks 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
