The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
