The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
